Chronicle of summer 1988: "Antis" band concert, collective actions at the Baltic Sea, political sensations on TV, and clashes with the police

Five theater groups from Sweden, France, Germany, Austria and Slovenia asked a question everyone at some point of life asks: "Should I stay or should I go?", and looked out for many different answers from people all over Europe: How do personal, financial or geographical surroundings, how does the environment in general influence someone's decision to go away or to stay in the same place. Why do we leave or don't? All groups looked deeper into one particular community in their home country: a very rural area in the north of Sweden, companies that have to economize in France, the Transgender scene in Germany, young educated people searching for perspectives in Slovenia and the complicated side effects of love in Austria. The artists went right there to interview people about their reasons to live their life the way they do. Based on actual events surrounding a New Zealand drug scandal that involved the murder of Martin Johnstone of the UK, in the early 1070's. Johnstone had been dubbed "Mr Asia" by international police who were about to arrest him. Then when police were about to arrest his killer, that person was killed while in Police custody. Some feel the real "Mr Asia" is alive today. The film tries to tell about private efforts to try and reach the real killer and villain.
